A true story · by Adam K.
Nine years. One day. Done.
The true story of quitting hashish, kif and cigarettes all at once — and the simple ideas that kept me free for four years.
A personal story, not medical advice.

From the book
Before, and after
Before
The first thing I needed when I woke up wasn’t breakfast, wasn’t water. The first thing was to smoke.
I can’t even walk unless I’m holding a cigarette.
I’ll die with a cigarette in my hand.

After
I started sleeping better than I ever had.
My body went from 60 kilos to 80. I play sports.
I sit with my parents and actually feel at ease. My days are good on their own.
This book is for you if…
- You smoke every day — weed, hash, spliffs or cigarettes — and you want out.
- You quit before, and went back.
- Someone you love smokes, and you want to understand what it’s like from the inside.

What’s inside
Three parts. One way out.
Part One: The Story
How I got in at 13, nine years without a single day off, and the day I quit.
Part Two: The Advice
What worked for me: your reasons, the pathways, cravings, friends, parents, and what to do if you slip.
Part Three: From 60 to 80 Kilos
How I rebuilt myself: the body coming back, food, and sport.
17 chapters, 5 exercises, 2 step-by-step action plans.
Three ideas from the book
“I’m done,” not “I stopped”
When you say “I stopped,” it suggests there may be a day you start again. When you say “I’m done,” it means it’s over.
Chapter 7
A craving is a wave
It rises, reaches its peak, and then it falls. It never stays up. If you don’t ride it, it passes underneath you.
Chapter 10
A cigarette doesn’t solve the problem
If you lose your wallet and you smoke a cigarette, will the wallet come back? No. You have to get up and go look for it.
Chapter 11
Chapter One
The Hero Who Smoked
When we were kids, the hero always smoked.
In the movies, in the series, on TV... the strong man, the one who feared no one, the one everybody respected, always had a cigarette in his hand. We watched, and without noticing, we learned: if you want to be a man, if you want to be a hero, you have to smoke.
And I believed it.
I grew up in a small town. A town where everyone knows everyone, and where the forbidden has a special taste. As they say: what’s forbidden is what’s wanted.
I was 13 the first time I smoked. My friends and I would go out into nature, far from anyone’s eyes, and take kif and cigarettes with us. For us it wasn’t just smoking. It was a way into the world of grown men.
Questions
Is it only about weed?
No. I smoked kif (cannabis mixed with tobacco), hashish and cigarettes, every day, and I quit all three on the same day. If you smoke spliffs or joints rolled with tobacco, you’ll recognize yourself in it.
Is this a medical program?
No. It’s my lived experience, not medical advice. I’m not a doctor or a specialist.
If you use alcohol, pills or other drugs too, have a heart or mental-health condition, or feel strong anxiety or sadness after stopping, see a doctor. There’s no shame in it.
How is it delivered? Is the purchase discreet?
It’s a PDF of about 40 pages, sold and delivered by Gumroad. Right after payment you get a download link on screen and by email, and you can read it on a phone, tablet or computer.
The payment is processed by Gumroad, which handles the card details — this site never sees them. The Gumroad receipt email does include the book’s title.
Is it the same as Allen Carr’s book?
No. This is my story and the things that worked for me. Allen Carr’s book is the one that helped me quit; I credit it inside and recommend reading it. The two complete each other.
What if it’s not for me?
You have 14 days to ask for a refund, no questions asked. Just reply to your Gumroad receipt email.
